Terms of use
Preview service
PennyQuery is a preview. Payments run on the Base Sepolia testnet with test USDC, which has no monetary value. Tools, prices, limits and these terms may change or the service may stop at any time, without notice.
Not investment advice
Nothing returned by this service is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Don't make trading decisions based only on this data. Check primary sources, such as the filing on sec.gov, before you rely on a figure.
The data
- Company enrichment records are a hand-curated sample of 5 fictional companies on reserved
.exampledomains (source: "seed:sample"). They describe no real company and exist for testing the payment flow. - SEC EDGAR data is fetched from data.sec.gov when you call. It's U.S. government data in the public domain. It shows what EDGAR has published at that moment, which can lag a company's own announcements, and filers can amend or restate filings later. Financial figures are as reported in the filer's XBRL and aren't audited or adjusted here. Parsing (for example of Form 4 transactions) can contain errors.
No warranty
The service and its data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose or uptime. There's no service-level agreement. To the extent the law allows, the operator isn't liable for losses arising from use of the service or its data.
Payments
- Paid tools charge only when the call succeeds. Invalid input, not-found results, upstream outages and rate-limited calls aren't settled.
- Payments are on-chain transfers made by your own wallet. They're public and can't be reversed by the operator.
Acceptable use
- Stay within the rate limits: about 60 requests per minute per IP without payment, and 120 paid calls per minute per wallet.
- Don't try to disrupt the service, get around its limits or payments, or use it to break the law, including SEC EDGAR's fair-access policy.
